Arnaut Danjuma was again on target to give Villarreal their first win in La Liga this season after drawing their first four games in the new campaign.
Villarreal smashed past hosts Elche 4-1 Wednesday night with Danjuma finding the target on the hour for his second goal in La Liga since his arrival in the summer from England.
The Lagos-born forward, 24, justified his start with his team’s third goal which effectively killed off the game.
He went through on goal and tucked away the rebound when his first effort was partially blocked for the scores to read 3-1.
Villarreal have now climbed to 11th in the standings with seven points from five matches.
