Fidelity Bank Donates Maternity Kits to Pregnant Women in Yaba as Part of CSR

Fidelity Bank Plc has donated maternity kits to pregnant women in Aiyetoro, Yaba LCDA, Lagos State, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts under the Fidelity Helping Hands Program (FHHP). This initiative, led by the Crestcore Inductees Class, highlights the bank’s commitment to supporting local communities.

During a handover ceremony at Aiyetoro Primary Health Centre, Dr. Meksley Nwagboh, Divisional Head of Brand & Communications at Fidelity Bank, emphasized the initiative’s importance, stating that access to essential ante-natal care is critical for reducing maternal mortality.

Receiving the items, the Medical Officer of Health for Yaba LCDA, Dr. S.O. Oredein, expressed gratitude, praising Fidelity Bank for its efforts in encouraging more expectant mothers to visit health centers.

One of the beneficiaries, Sekinat Aderoju, thanked the bank, noting that the maternity kits would ease the financial burden and aid in ensuring safe deliveries.

Fidelity Bank’s CSR program focuses on health, education, youth empowerment, and environmental sustainability. The bank has also earned multiple awards for its service and impact, including recognition as the Best SME Bank in Nigeria and Best Domestic Private Bank in Nigeria.
