FirstBank has addressed recent reports concerning a supposed system upgrade, clarifying that the message in question was directed exclusively to its vendors. In a statement, the bank explained that it is transitioning from its current I-Supplier platform to a new cloud-based platform, designed to enhance vendor management capabilities. This change, however, does not affect the bank’s core systems or customer applications.
“We wish to assure our customers that no system upgrade is currently underway, and all services, including banking systems, customer transactions, and channels, remain fully operational without disruption,” the bank stated.
FirstBank reiterated its dedication to seamless service delivery, ensuring customers of uninterrupted access to its offerings.
