Kano Police Commissioner Holds Meeting to Strengthen Commitment to Safety

The Kano State Commissioner of Police, Salman Dogo Garba, held a strategic meeting with senior officers, including Heads of Departments, Area Commanders, Tactical Commanders, and Divisional Police Officers, to reinforce the force’s commitment to its constitutional duty of protecting lives and property and upholding law and order across the state.

During the session, CP Garba emphasized proactive approaches to security, directing operational commanders to implement measures including enhanced patrols in high-risk areas, intensified intelligence-sharing and collaboration with communities, improved response times to distress calls, and strengthened community engagement to foster trust and partnerships.

These initiatives are part of a broader effort to curb crime and ensure public safety in Kano State. The command reassured residents of its ongoing dedication to providing a secure environment for all activities.
