MultiChoice, the parent company of DStv and GOtv, has announced an upward adjustment in subscription prices for its packages, effective March 1, 2025.
In a statement titled “Price Adjustments for DStv and GOtv Packages,” the company attributed the increase to rising operational costs, citing naira depreciation and high inflation as key factors.
Under the new pricing structure, DStv Compact will increase from N15,700 to N19,000, while Compact Plus will rise to N30,000. The Premium package will now cost N44,500.
For GOtv subscribers, the new prices are as follows:
GOtv Jinja: N3,900 (from N3,600)
GOtv Plus: N5,800 (from N4,850)
GOtv Max: N8,500
GOtv Supa: N11,400
GOtv Supa Plus: N16,800
MultiChoice emphasized that the adjustment is necessary to maintain the quality of its homegrown and international content while ensuring top-tier service delivery.
