At first, she was a dullard, who kept on failing and losing hope in herself. As luck would shine in her, she was helped, groomed and trained by Mrs. Okeke, Mr. G and Mr. Paul Odoma. They helped to bring out the best in her and it helped her being a better person in life and also being the first female president of the giant of Africa.
Her mentors and God-sent helpers were all proud of their hard work and the product their efforts have raised. Mrs. Okeke helped President Maryam to burn the midnight oil 31 years ago, when she saw the potentials President Maryam had, she never doubted her little Maryam will be great in life.
Mr. Gyang was her school father when she was admitted to New Era High School. He continued from where Mrs. Okeke stopped. He ensures she did well in all her studies and she felt his impact and had to motivate her mates to all give him a gift before leaving. Mr. G. was on his way to commit suicide at home when everything seems to be turning upside down for him, all thanks to his friend who called the helpless man to come and see what his efforts have ended up producing in the country.
Mr. Paul Odoma in his own case had to sacrifice his job as a lecturer to fight for Maryam Omale for her to get her right scores back in order to finish her degree in flying colours. All the sacrifices of these teachers had a good impact on Maryam and even helped her in making positive impact in her country just in one year as the president.
