I want my son dead or alive, father of missing child cries out
Alfred Ayo, who works with a mining company in Igarra, Edo stats has called on the Delta State government, clergy men and Nigerians to help him recover his missing son, Master Testimony Ayo.
Testimony, got missing since April 15, 2019. He was two years old. Alfred made this passionate plea after a Magistrate court session of the case proceedings at Ebrumede court 2 in Warri, Delta State.
This newspaper gathered that the father of the missing child also cautioned his ex wife, Ruth Matthew and her alleged boyfriend, Mr Emmanuel Marcus to stop using his child for money making business and to return his baby to him.
Kneeling down in front of the court in Ebrumede, Delta state with two hands raised to expressed his helplessness and need for a higher power intervention in the case, Mr Alfred Ayo was a heart touching sight to behold as he cried out for help.
It was his first time to appear in court over the disappearance of his two year old son, Master Testimony Ayo in Effurrun Warri, in April 2019.
According to Mr Alfred Ayo, he never knew about the ongoing court case until recently when he saw the trending news of his missing son on the internet.
He accused his ex wife, Ruth Matthew and her alleged new boyfriend, Emmanuel Marcus of using his missing son, Testimony Ayo for money spinning business.
Meanwhile in a statement in the witness box of the court, Mr Emmanuel Marcus alleged that the parents of the missing child on the day of the disappearance of the boy offered him three hundred thousand naira to say that the child got missing in Mercy city, Effurrun, Warri.
It is worthy to note that the Missing boy’s Mother, Ruth Matthew initially came to beg for financial assistance from the pastor of the church, imaging coming down from Edo to Warri with five children, the disappearance of master testimony ayo occurred outside the Mercy city, and wouldn’t have been in possession of such sums of money
The court case with number MA/29C/ 2022 before Magistrate Afonughe Edewor ( Mrs) has been heard in two court proceedings and adjourned to 26, May for the next hearing.
However, the father of the missing child had also written a petition letter to the Delta State commissioner for police informing him on the alleged use of his missing boy, Testimony Ayo as a money spinning business for his ex wife Ruth Matthew and her alleged Boyfriend, Emmanuel Marcus.
