President Bola Tinubu has extended his heartfelt condolences to former Oyo State Governor, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, following the death of his wife, Alhaja Mutiat Ladoja.
In a message delivered on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu expressed deep sorrow over the loss, offering prayers for strength and comfort to the Ladoja family during this difficult time.
“President Bola Tinubu commiserates with the former Governor of Oyo State and Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Rashidi Ladoja, over the demise of his wife, Tinuade,” the statement read.
The President extended his sympathies to the Ladoja family, the deceased’s associates, and the Celestial Church of Christ, where Alhaja Ladoja served as a member of the Pastor-in-Council.
Highlighting her contributions to society, Tinubu praised the late matriarch for her charitable works, her advocacy for women and children, and her role in the highest decision-making body of the Celestial Church of Christ.
“She lived a life of selflessness, always putting the needs of others first and expanding the gospel,” the President said, adding that her impact on both the church and her community will not be forgotten.
President Tinubu prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and asked for divine comfort for the family as they navigate this period of grief.
