Nigerian music icon Innocent “2Baba” Idibia and Edo lawmaker Hon. Natasha Osawaru have officially married in a vibrant traditional ceremony in Benin City.
The event, held in Edo State’s capital, was marked by rich cultural displays, traditional regalia, and royal blessings. Osawaru, a serving member of the Edo State House of Assembly, wore ceremonial beads and native attire, reflecting the royal heritage of the region.
2Baba, dressed in traditional Idoma garb, was formally introduced to Osawaru’s family in accordance with Benin customs. The couple had earlier received blessings at the palace of the Och’Idoma in Otukpo, Benue State.
The ceremony symbolized a union that bridges music, politics, and Nigeria’s diverse cultural traditions — a celebration that captivated audiences nationwide.
