Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, a member of the Standard Bank Group, has been ranked among Nigeria’s top 10 most valuable brands in the 2025 edition of the Brand Finance Nigeria 25 report. The Group recorded a remarkable 206% increase in brand value—one of the highest year-on-year growths in the Nigerian financial services sector.

The prestigious ranking by Brand Finance—the world’s leading independent brand valuation consultancy—reflects Stanbic IBTC’s consistent commitment to delivering value to clients, stakeholders, and the broader market. The firm assesses thousands of brands annually across over 40 countries, with this recognition underscoring Stanbic IBTC’s growing influence.

Stanbic IBTC moved up in the national brand rankings from 13th place in 2024 to 8th in 2025, driven by its strategic focus on digital transformation, enhanced customer experience, and continuous product innovation.

Reacting to the achievement, Adekunle Adedeji, Acting Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Holdings, said, “Being named among Nigeria’s top 10 brands is a tremendous honour that reflects the trust and loyalty of our customers. This milestone reaffirms our dedication to offering innovative, customer-centric solutions that meet evolving needs.”

He added that the recognition highlights the Group’s alignment with Nigeria’s economic dynamics and commitment to inclusive growth and digital advancement. “Beyond brand value, we empower individuals and businesses with tools to thrive,” he noted.

Bridget Oyefeso-Odusami, Head of Brand and Marketing at Stanbic IBTC Holdings, also hailed the recognition as a testament to the dedication of staff and the confidence of customers. “Our focus remains on long-term value creation, grounded innovation, and community engagement,” she said.

Looking ahead, the Group is preparing to launch several strategic initiatives, including financial empowerment programmes for women (such as Bloom Weekend), SME-focused activations like Market Storm, and tech-driven youth programmes. Capacity-building efforts and sector-specific events are also planned to support entrepreneurship and financial literacy.

With this latest recognition, Stanbic IBTC reinforces its reputation as a trusted, forward-looking partner committed to driving sustainable economic growth across Nigeria and Africa.
