Trump Discloses $57M Earnings from Pre-Election Crypto Token Sales

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has disclosed earning over $57 million from the sale of cryptocurrency tokens linked to a blockchain venture launched ahead of the 2024 election.

According to a federal financial disclosure form released Friday by the Office of Government Ethics, Trump’s income was primarily generated through World Liberty Financial tokens, a project developed in collaboration with his sons and launched under the Trump-affiliated entity, DT Marks Defi.

The disclosure confirms Trump received $57.4 million from token sales, despite earlier criticism over potential conflicts of interest and transparency issues. Trump’s involvement with the venture included the launch of a “Trump” memecoin and the public endorsement of the platform in January 2025.

Previously skeptical of cryptocurrencies, Trump has since adopted a pro-crypto stance, including appointing crypto advocate Paul Atkins as chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission and establishing a federal “Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.”

The disclosure also detailed Trump’s income from his business empire, including over $50 million from Mar-a-Lago, $110.4 million from his Miami golf course, and $29.1 million from West Palm Beach. He earned additional millions from branded merchandise and receives a monthly $6,484 pension from the Screen Actors Guild.
