With over seven years of experience, Damilola Abiodun Akinleye has carved a distinct niche in the fashion world. Her journey began in Ibadan as the creative director of Ye80 Fashion School, where she collaborated with the NYSC’s SAED program to mentor Youth Corps members and style clients for weddings. Her work with women’s church groups ignited her passion for religious garments.
After moving to Abuja, Akinleye worked independently, specializing in Nigerian Aso-Oke for weddings and Bubu designs. Relocating to the UK, she embraced her calling in religious fashion. Now based in Scotland, she is recognized as the region’s sole designer offering bespoke religious wear.
