The 10th season of Big Brother Naija officially launched on Saturday with the unveiling of an all-female lineup, marking a dynamic start to what promises to be a milestone edition of Africa’s most-watched reality show.
With the theme “10/10,” this year’s edition aims to deliver peak entertainment, and the opening night did not disappoint. From a Nigerian-American DJ and single mother to a lawyer-turned-chef, the house features a diverse mix of vibrant, accomplished women ready to entertain, inspire, and compete.
Among the standout housemates introduced during the live premiere were:
Nicole Simon (Gigi Jasmine), 31 – A Nigerian-American DJ, storyteller, and single mother aiming to “shift culture” with boldness and beats.
Ifeyinwa Okafor (Ivatar), 37 – A seasoned TV host and South Africa-Nigeria hybrid, bringing depth and candour to the show.
Elizabeth Oloruntola (Zita), 24 – A makeup artist and hype queen known for her creativity and unapologetic flair.
Sonia Amako (Big Soso), 28 – A lawyer and chef who funded her education through hard work, with a no-nonsense approach.
Farida Sultana Auduson (Sultana), 26 – A plus-size model and beautician with an eccentric and heart-driven personality.
Ayomide Iwasokun (Mide), 23 – A bold and intuitive contender known for her unfiltered insight.
Precious Ashiogwu (Dede), 23 – A focused and competitive housemate who bought her mother a home.
