Nigerian music sensation D’banj is ramping up excitement for his highly anticipated album, The Entertainer D’Sequel, set to drop on Friday, August 16.
In a newly released trailer, the artist brings together an impressive cast featuring Mavin Records’ Don Jazzy, Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke, and media personality Jimi Akinsola, alongside himself.
The trailer, which has the feel of a high-stakes espionage film, centers around an intense interrogation scene. The standout moment comes when D’banj delivers a powerful line:
“Just because the soldier rests his gun doesn’t mean he’s no longer a shooter. People keep asking me if I’m back, if I’m back. How can I be back when I never left? I am the entertainer.”
