The Dangote Group’s pavilion at the ongoing 45th Kano International Trade Fair has become a hub of activity, attracting a surge of visitors eager to explore the company’s offerings as the year draws to a close.

Organized by the Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (KACCIMA), the event, themed “Non-Oil Export for Economic Prosperity,” underscores the importance of economic diversification, a goal that aligns with Dangote Group’s business philosophy.

A statement from the Branding and Corporate Communications Department of Dangote Group highlighted the company’s commitment to non-oil exports, showcasing its investments in fertilizer, sugar, salt, and cement across Africa. The fair, which runs from November 23 to December 7, 2024, features a well-staffed Dangote pavilion where visitors can receive detailed product information and make purchases.

Boost for Distributors and Retailers
The pavilion has been a focal point for distributors and retailers, many of whom are leveraging the fair to stock up for the upcoming festive season. This engagement underscores the pivotal role the event plays in facilitating business transactions and preparing stakeholders to meet increased year-end demand.

Federal Government and KACCIMA Applaud Dangote
During a visit to the pavilion, Minister of Defence Mohammed Badaru Abubakar praised the Dangote Group’s contribution to Nigeria’s economic growth. He emphasized the Federal Government’s recognition of the private sector’s critical role in national development under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

“The Federal Government remains committed to restoring peace and stability, and we urge Nigerians to continue supporting the government with prayers and confidence in our security forces,” said Minister Abubakar.

Similarly, KACCIMA President Alhaji Garba Imam lauded the Dangote Group for its consistent sponsorship of the annual trade fair, describing the partnership as a testament to the company’s dedication to economic development.

A Call to Explore Opportunities
KACCIMA Director General Alhaji Sabiu Umar Yola highlighted the importance of this year’s theme, urging Nigerians to diversify export commodities beyond crude oil. He commended Dangote’s active participation, describing it as a model of innovation and support for non-oil exports.

Dangote Group reiterated its call for attendees to visit its pavilion to explore a range of products, including Dangote Cement, Sugar, Salt, and Fertilizer, as part of the company’s efforts to promote Nigeria as a hub for non-oil exports.

The Kano International Trade Fair continues to serve as a platform for showcasing local and international products while promoting economic diversification and growth.
