The world’s largest international airline, Emirates, has signed an interline agreement with West Africa’s leading carrier, Air Peace, to enhance connectivity for passengers traveling to and from Nigeria.
The partnership, announced in a joint statement by Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, and Air Peace’s Chief Operating Officer, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olajide, expands Emirates’ reach to 13 additional cities in Nigeria. The deal allows for seamless single-ticket travel and simplified baggage transfers for passengers.
Under the agreement, travelers flying from Dubai to Lagos on Emirates can now connect onward to Asaba, Akure, Benin City, Calabar, Enugu, Ilorin, Kaduna, and Owerri. Corporate travelers will also benefit from easier connections to key Nigerian cities, including Kano, Uyo, Port Harcourt, Warri, and Abuja.
According to Emirates, the interline partnership will further strengthen bilateral trade relations between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Commenting on the development, Emirates’ Deputy President and CCO, Adnan Kazim, described the agreement as a significant step in strengthening the airline’s presence in Nigeria.
“Emirates is a steadfast partner of Nigeria’s tourism, trade, and aviation sectors. This partnership with Air Peace is the next step on this journey, bolstering our connectivity and introducing more travel options for corporate, leisure, and visiting family travelers to and from Nigeria,” Kazim said.
Air Peace’s Chief Operating Officer, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olajide, expressed excitement over the collaboration, emphasizing its impact on global connectivity for Nigerian travelers.
“We are excited about this strategic interline partnership between Air Peace and Emirates. It aligns with our mission to provide seamless, world-class travel experiences while expanding our route network and international reach,” she said.
Olajide further highlighted that the partnership would facilitate business, tourism, and trade opportunities, reinforcing Nigeria’s aviation sector as a key hub for regional and global travel.
“This collaboration expands Air Peace’s international reach and offers Nigerians arriving from Dubai seamless access to key domestic destinations. By improving travel ease, we are boosting business, tourism, and trade opportunities while strengthening economic ties between Nigeria and the UAE,” she added.
The agreement marks a milestone in Nigeria’s aviation sector, enhancing connectivity efficiency and positioning the country as a crucial link in international air travel.
