The FBI has launched an investigation into a deadly truck-ramming attack on New Orleans’ Bourbon Street, declaring it an act of terrorism. The agency confirmed Wednesday that the suspected assailant was killed during an encounter with law enforcement.
“This morning, an individual drove a car into a crowd of people on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, killing a number of people and injuring dozens of others,” the FBI stated.
