Lagos Governor Mourns Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s Death, Calls It a Major Loss

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has expressed profound shock and sorrow over the death of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, describing it as a significant loss to Nigeria, his home state of Anambra, and Lagos, where Ubah established many of his businesses.

Governor Sanwo-Olu hailed the late Ifeanyi Ubah as an astute businessman and dedicated politician who made substantial contributions to nation-building as a representative of his people in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly.

In his heartfelt condolence message, Governor Sanwo-Olu extended his sympathies to the immediate family of the deceased, his friends, colleagues, and associates, particularly the people of Anambra South, who have lost an illustrious son.

The Governor also conveyed his condolences to the President of the Senate, Dr. Godswill Akpabio, all distinguished Senators, the entire National Assembly, and the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo, over the unfortunate demise of Senator Ubah.

He prayed for the repose of Senator Ubah’s soul and for God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
