As the nation commemorates Democracy Day, Hon. Francis Barthlomew Chima, popularly known as OmoBarca, has extended heartfelt greetings to Nigerians while reaffirming his unwavering commitment to the people of Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government Area in Lagos State.
In a statement released on Wednesday, OmoBarca described June 12 as a defining moment in Nigeria’s democratic journey—a day that symbolizes courage, sacrifice, and the enduring pursuit of justice and freedom.
“June 12 is forever etched in our national memory as a testament to the strength of our collective voice and the price paid by many heroes, both known and unknown, in securing the democracy we enjoy today,” he said.
Addressing his constituents directly, the grassroots politician commended the resilience and unity of Ajeromi-Ifelodun residents amid persistent challenges.
“You have stood firm in the face of adversity. Your unwavering dedication to our community’s growth fuels the hope for a brighter, more equitable Nigeria,” Chima stated.
