Wema Bank, Nigeria’s leading innovative bank and the pioneer of Africa’s first fully digital bank, ALAT, is gearing up to launch the fourth season of its highly successful reward initiative, the Wema Bank 5 for 5 Promo. The much-anticipated season is scheduled to kick off on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
Launched in 2021, the Wema Bank 5 for 5 Promo aims to reward loyal customers for their continuous engagement with the bank’s products and services. Each season, winners are selected through live draws from the bank’s pool of active customers who meet the set minimum transaction requirements.
With qualification starting as low as N5,000 in monthly transactions, the promo has gained immense popularity. Over the past three seasons, Wema Bank has disbursed over N150 million to 2,378 Nigerians across the country. Season 1 saw 639 winners receive N31.5 million, season 2 rewarded 539 customers with N31.85 million, and the most recent season distributed N90 million to 1,200 customers.
As season 4 approaches, excitement is building across Nigeria. To participate, customers are encouraged to request a Wema/ALAT debit card, download the ALAT app, or use the *945# USSD platform to start transacting.
Wema Bank’s Managing Director and CEO, Moruf Oseni, reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to providing a rewarding experience for its customers. “At Wema Bank, we believe in offering optimal returns to our customers. The Wema Bank 5 for 5 Promo season 4 will kick off with a special Independence Day live draw on October 1, 2024. To participate, Nigerians are encouraged to open a Wema Bank or ALAT account, request a debit card, and start transacting through any of the bank’s approved channels.
