The Governor of Lagos State and Chairman of the South-West Governors Forum, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated Senate President Godswill Akpabio on his 63rd birthday, describing him as a transformational leader whose life exemplifies service, courage, and visionary leadership.

In a statement on Tuesday, issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu praised Akpabio’s contributions to national development and the progress of his home state, Akwa Ibom, through roles as Commissioner, Governor, federal lawmaker, and now Senate President.

“On behalf of my wife, family, the government, and the people of Lagos State, I extend heartfelt congratulations to Senate President Godswill Akpabio on his 63rd birthday,” the Governor said.

He added that Akpabio’s leadership reflects vision, passion, and unwavering dedication to nation-building, noting his role in fostering strong executive-legislative relations and supporting the success of the President Bola Tinubu-led All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.

Governor Sanwo-Olu also commended the Senate President’s impact through quality representation, legislative achievements, and interventions benefiting his constituency and the nation at large.

“On this momentous day, I join Senator Akpabio’s family, friends, and associates in wishing him a joyous birthday. May the Almighty God bless him with good health as he continues his dedicated service to Nigeria,” he concluded.
