The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will on Thursday inaugurate its logistics committee for the 2027 general election as part of efforts to ensure smooth distribution of election materials.
The inauguration will be followed by an inaugural meeting between the commission’s leadership and members of the committee at INEC headquarters in Abuja.
The committee comprises representatives of transport and maritime unions, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, transport operators, the police, the Nigerian Air Force, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, and other paramilitary agencies.
