Access Holdings Plc has announced the 2025 edition of its annual Access Walk Against Cancer, a flagship initiative aimed at promoting breast cancer awareness, early detection, and community health education in commemoration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The walk, slated for Saturday, October 25, 2025, will commence at Access Towers, proceed to Muri Okunola Park, and return to the Towers. The event will bring together employees, partners, and members of the public in a unified effort to advance cancer awareness, advocacy, and preventive health care.
Speaking on the initiative, Esther Graham, Programme Manager, Health at Access Holdings, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to building healthier communities.
“At Access Holdings, we believe that health is the foundation of progress. Through the Access Walk Against Cancer, we are not only raising awareness but also inspiring collective action to protect and preserve lives,” Graham said.
Organised in collaboration with the HACEY Health Initiative and Sebeccly Cancer Support Center, the event will feature free health screenings for over 300 women, alongside games, wellness sessions, and interactive activities designed to promote community engagement and education.
Participants are encouraged to walk in honour of loved ones, for personal health goals, or in solidarity with others — contributing to a broader mission of fostering a healthier, more informed society.
Registration for the Access Walk Against Cancer 2025 is currently open to the public via the official Access Holdings portal.
