Former Bayelsa United goalkeeper Emmanuel Fabiyi has been nominated for the Best Goalkeeper of the Year Award in Benin Republic at the end of the season.
Fabiyi, who manned the posts for Requins FC last season, told SCORENigeria he is confident he will scoop the top award.
“I have been nominated for goalkeeper of the season award for the last season,” he said.
“I am confident I will it because I kept 17 clean sheets in 30 games.”
He will battle Cherif Dine Kakpo (Buffles FC) and Sheyi Damilola (Ayeni FC) for the top prize.
