Superior Evangelist Wale Sutton, Shepherd in Charge of the Celestial Church of Christ Ifako Cathedral, welcomed Sunday’s attendees to the church’s 50th annual harvest and thanksgiving service, themed “Harvest of Unspeakable Joy. “
In his address, Sutton expressed gratitude to God for His infinite mercy, kindness, love, and benevolence, acknowledging the challenges faced globally while celebrating the church’s journey. He extended warm greetings on behalf of the Church Parochial Committee and the entire congregation.
Reflecting on his appointment as a shepherd on January 1, Sutton highlighted numerous developmental projects initiated to remodel and reposition the church for enhanced evangelism and soul redemption, in line with the values established by the church’s founder, Pastor S.B.J. Oshoffa.
He thanked the Parochial Committee, led by Special Superior Evangelist Wale Akintomiwa, for its unwavering support and the elders and congregation members for their efforts in modernizing the church’s appearance.
Sutton also commended the dedication of all shepherds who have served over the past five decades for their selfless contributions to the church’s growth and wished their families continued blessings.
He concluded with a prayer for those in attendance, wishing them blessings of unprecedented miracles as they celebrate this Golden Jubilee Harvest.
