In a remarkable display of faith and generosity, Dr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose has donated ₦100 million to the ongoing construction of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) National Headquarters in Makoko, Lagos State. The historic contribution was made on Friday, April 4, 2026, during the Church’s solemn Good Friday service.

Dr. Ajose, a prominent figure and 2027 Lagos State governorship aspirant, attended the service not only as a political personality but also as a devoted member of the Church. He is the son of the late Most Superior Evangelist Abraham Ajose, whose legacy continues to inspire members of the CCC.

The ₦100 million donation underscores Dr. Ajose’s commitment to the spiritual and structural growth of the Church. Church leaders and congregants received the contribution with gratitude, noting that it will accelerate the reconstruction of the National Headquarters, a landmark project central to the Church’s mission.

Speaking at the event, members described the donation as more than a financial contribution, viewing it as an act of worship and a reaffirmation of Dr. Ajose’s dedication to advancing the Church’s work.

Good Friday, commemorating the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ, provided a symbolic backdrop for the donation. Observers highlighted that Dr. Ajose’s gesture mirrors the biblical principle in 2 Corinthians 9:7: “God loves a cheerful giver,” reflecting a heart aligned with service, faith, and community.

As Lagos State prepares for the 2027 gubernatorial elections, Dr. Ajose’s action emphasizes his values of faith, service, and legacy. The donation is expected to leave a lasting impact on the Church’s physical development and inspire others to support God’s work.
