Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government, Hon Taufiq lsa Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) Hon. Taufiq Isa then was spects in the construction of speed bumps and equally paid a courtesy visit to a renowned legal luminary, Professor Jonas Amupitan (SAN) in Ayetoro Gbede.
Recalled, Last two weeks, there was an accident which involved the lost of live of seven persons in the community, The Executive Chairman in a swift reaction immediately release fund for the construction of speed bump. He is in the community to observe the level of work done and it quality.
The visit to Professor Jonahs Amupitan was to commiserate with him and extend the Local Government greetings as he prepare for the burial of his mother this weekend.
The Legal Luminary and Academic Don of the University of His,Prof Amupitan extolled the leadership qualities embedded in Hon. Taufiq Isa in his ways of championing local government evolution. He is indeed a rare breed Local Government Chairman.
