JMG Limited, a leading provider of integrated electromechanical solutions in Nigeria, has reaffirmed its role in the country’s clean energy transition by hosting media stakeholders to mark the International Day of Clean Energy, highlighting the practical impact of its solar and hybrid energy solutions across key sectors of the economy.
The media engagement, held at the company’s head office in Victoria Island, Lagos, served as a platform for JMG’s management to demonstrate how clean energy solutions are already delivering reliable, cost-effective and measurable outcomes for Nigerian businesses and institutions, rather than remaining a future aspiration.
With decades of experience in delivering solutions that enhance comfort, safety and operational efficiency, JMG operates across critical business areas including conventional and renewable power, electrical infrastructure, HVAC systems, elevators and escalators, air compressors, and energy-efficient technologies. The company’s operations are supported by internationally recognised ISO certifications covering quality management, occupational health and safety, and environmental sustainability.
Speaking at the session, JMG’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Rabih Jammal, said the International Day of Clean Energy underscores the urgency for Nigeria to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy solutions.
“Clean energy is no longer a future concept; it is happening now and it is working,” Jammal said. “At JMG, we are not just advocating renewables, we are delivering them. From our 150-kilowatt solar installation at our Victoria Island head office to multiple large-scale deployments nationwide, we have demonstrated that clean energy works technically, commercially and financially.”
He noted that JMG’s solar and hybrid projects have enabled clients to save millions of naira in diesel costs, improve energy reliability and significantly cut carbon emissions.
“As more countries transition to sustainable solutions, clean energy has become an economic imperative for Nigeria. It boosts competitiveness, reduces operating costs and empowers communities. We will continue to invest in solar solutions, technology, partnerships and people to scale clean energy nationwide,” he added.
Also speaking, JMG’s Head of Marketing, Ms. Oluwatomi Faniran, described clean energy as a central pillar of the company’s business strategy.
“At JMG, clean energy is more than technology; it is a responsibility. Our track record speaks for itself,” Faniran said.
She highlighted successful deployments of solar hybrid systems at NIPCO fuel stations, the powering of a government state house, and the delivery of energy-efficient solutions at facilities including Nourdm Global and Rack Centre.
“These projects demonstrate that clean energy is not only possible but practical and profitable. Through our renewable energy initiatives, we have reduced carbon emissions by tens of thousands of kilograms of CO₂ while helping clients achieve significant diesel cost savings,” she said.
Providing further insight into JMG’s renewable offerings, Mr. Raymond Nwose, Product Manager, Hybrid Power Systems at JMG Solar, said the company is actively addressing financial and operational barriers to clean energy adoption.

Nwose added that JMG’s engineers are strategically deployed across Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt to ensure prompt installation, maintenance and nationwide technical support.
Reinforcing the company’s customer-focused approach, Mrs. Anthonia Ogunsanya, Customer Support Manager at JMG, stressed the importance of dependable after-sales service.

The International Day of Clean Energy, observed annually on January 26, was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2023 to promote a just, inclusive and accelerated global transition to renewable energy.
