Former Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye, has cautioned Governor Ahmed Ododo over alleged attacks on the offices of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the state.
In a statement posted on X on Wednesday, Melaye urged the governor to call his appointees to order, warning that further assaults on ADC members or facilities would be met with what he described as a “superior response.”
“I call on Gov Ododo to call his appointees to order. Henceforth, any attack on ADC offices and members in the state will be matched with superior responses,” Melaye wrote.
The former lawmaker also revealed that he hosted youth members of the ADC National Executive Committee, describing the party as the “most youth-friendly” in Nigeria.
He listed attendees at the meeting to include Hauwa Yusuf, Deputy National Secretary; Nkem Ukandu, National Welfare Secretary; Hassana Shuiabu Dada, Assistant Youth Leader (NC); Jackie Wayas, Deputy National Publicity Secretary; Balarebe Rufai, National Youth Leader (Male); Atiku Abubakar Saleh, Deputy National Organising Secretary; Princess Caroline Obaro, National Youth Leader (Female); David Itopa, Deputy National Welfare Secretary; and Akibu Dalhatu, National Financial Secretary.
