MIP 5 Fellows Begin Industry Experience

By Ayomide Otitoju

The MIP 5 Fellows have commenced their Immersion Week, designed to bridge classroom learning with real-world industry experience through engagements with senior executives and sector leaders.

As part of the programme, participants received insights into Nigeria’s telecommunications industry, emerging technologies and the evolving regulatory landscape.

The fellows interacted with senior executives, including Chief Enterprise Business Officer Lynda Saint-Nwafor, Chief Technology Officer Yahaya Ibrahim, and General Manager, Regulatory Affairs, Ikenna Ikeme.

During a session titled “5G, IoT, and the Future of Tech,” Saint-Nwafor urged participants to look beyond the widespread focus on artificial intelligence and pay closer attention to the data, energy and computing infrastructure driving emerging technologies.
