Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has completed a permanent move to Turkish champions Galatasaray in a deal worth €75 million, ending a protracted transfer saga with Italian side Napoli.
Galatasaray confirmed the transfer on Thursday, disclosing that the Nigerian forward signed a four-year contract and will earn €15 million annually. He will also receive a €1 million loyalty bonus and €5 million in image rights.
The club added that 10% of any future profit from Osimhen’s resale will go to Napoli.
“I’m proud to be back with the Galatasaray family,” Osimhen said in an interview with the club’s website. “With the quality in this team, we will aim for even greater achievements — especially in the Champions League.”
The 26-year-old scored 37 goals and provided eight assists in 41 appearances during his loan spell last season, helping Galatasaray secure a domestic double.
The move concludes a turbulent two-year relationship with Napoli, where Osimhen was sidelined amid contract disputes and transfer uncertainty.
