As part of activities marking the 2025 Press Week of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Chapter, a delegation of journalists paid a courtesy visit to Adron Homes and Properties Limited, one of Nigeria’s leading real estate development companies.
The visit, which took place at the company’s head office in Omole, Lagos, aimed to strengthen collaboration between the NUJ and Adron Homes in promoting public awareness on housing, property ownership, and real estate investment. The 2025 Press Week is scheduled to hold in Ibadan from October 12 to 17, with a focus on enhancing media engagement and celebrating journalistic excellence.
Led by the Oyo NUJ Chairman, Comrade Ademola Babalola, the journalists were received by the Managing Director of Adron Group, Mrs. Adenike Ajobo. In his remarks, Babalola commended Adron Homes for its consistent commitment to affordable housing delivery across Nigeria, describing the company as “a model of innovation and social impact.”
Responding, Mrs. Ajobo, who represented the Chairman/CEO, Sir Adetola Emmanuelking, expressed appreciation to the NUJ for the visit and congratulated the Oyo council on its forthcoming Press Week. She reaffirmed Adron Homes’ commitment to fostering a transparent relationship with the media, describing journalists as key partners in promoting housing awareness and national development.
“The media plays a vital role in shaping public perception and driving conversations around affordable housing,” she said. “At Adron Homes, we are committed to working closely with journalists to advance public enlightenment on real estate investment and home ownership.”
The meeting also featured an interactive session where both parties discussed possible collaborations on public education, property documentation, and land ownership awareness.
The NUJ delegation further applauded Adron Homes for its impactful corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects, particularly in youth empowerment and community development across Nigeria.
The courtesy visit concluded with an exchange of goodwill messages, symbolizing a renewed partnership between Adron Homes and the Oyo NUJ in advancing national housing discourse.
