The World Advanced Manufacturing & Future Mobility Exhibition (WAM Morocco) has secured a landmark lineup of global industrial leaders making their first appearance at a manufacturing exhibition in Morocco, underscoring growing international confidence in the country’s rise as a strategic hub for Industry 4.0 and intelligent manufacturing in Africa.
Scheduled to take place from 20 to 22 January at the Foire Internationale de Casablanca, WAM Morocco will host the Morocco exhibition debut of major global players including SAP, Sumitomo Corporation, ENGIE, Vigel and Zoho Corporation. They will join more than 100 participating companies from over 18 countries, among them the United States, France, Spain, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, the Netherlands and Vietnam.
The exhibition will bring together leading technology companies and industrial innovators such as Schneider Electric, Teledyne, Vivo Energy, Autoritat Portuària de Barcelona, Kirby Building Systems and OCP Circular Technologies, creating a platform for cross-border collaboration, technology transfer and investment mobilisation across Africa’s industrial value chain.
Trixie LohMirmand, Chief Executive Officer of KAOUN International, said the calibre of companies participating in WAM Morocco reflects the momentum behind the country’s industrial transformation.
“These global leaders recognise that Morocco is not just participating in the future of intelligent manufacturing, but actively shaping it,” she said, describing WAM Morocco as a gateway linking global innovation with regional ambition.
Institutional backing for the event comes from key Moroccan industrial and development stakeholders, including MSC Pro, CDD, CE3M, Amlog, Fenagri, CGM, OFPPT and UM6P, alongside strategic sponsors such as Seidor, Transit Aharram and Plastic Science by Design. Support from sovereign financial institutions and industry federations, including CDG and APEBI, positions the exhibition as a government-endorsed catalyst for national industrial development.
Hatim Chraibi, Principal at SPIRE Advisory Group, said WAM Morocco offers a rare opportunity to convene policymakers, industry leaders and investors on one platform to unlock Morocco’s and Africa’s industrial potential.
A major highlight of the event is the launch of the region’s first international startup pavilion, backed by Invest India, aimed at accelerating cross-border industrial innovation. The initiative is complemented by the Supernova Challenge, Africa’s first manufacturing-focused startup competition, which features a USD 10,000 cash prize and has attracted more than 40 startups working across advanced manufacturing, industrial automation, supply chain optimisation and future mobility.
The top 10 finalists will showcase innovations in areas such as robotics, artificial intelligence-driven quality control, sustainable materials, industrial internet of things platforms, smart logistics and next-generation energy systems. Winners will pitch to investors and industry executives, with opportunities for funding and strategic partnerships.
Further strengthening its regional reach, WAM Morocco has secured the Federation of West African Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FEWACCI) as a strategic partner, linking Morocco’s industrial ecosystem with West Africa’s growing markets.
Organised by KAOUN International in partnership with regional and international stakeholders including MSC Pro, CDD, UM6P, Advantage Austria and Der Mittelstand, BVMW of Germany, the exhibition is held in association with GITEX Africa. WAM Morocco aims to position Morocco as a continental centre for advanced manufacturing and Industry 4.0 transformation.
