The 2025 Lagos Tourism NBC Trade Fair is set to become Nigeria’s biggest trade and commerce event, with an anticipated ₦5 billion in sales, over 220 vendors, and an expected attendance of 75,000 visitors over three days.
This second edition, a partnership between Naija Brand Chick and the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, aims to leverage entertainment to drive trade. The fair will take place from Friday, April 11, to Sunday, April 13, at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Idris Aregbe, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs through various initiatives.
“The essence of tourism lies in buying, selling, and landscape development while boosting the local economy and fostering cultural exchange. Our administration prioritizes job creation, poverty reduction, SME growth, and bridging inequality, and we aim to further achieve these goals with initiatives like this,” Aregbe stated.
He added that this edition promises to be bigger and better, with an improved experience and greater impact. Beyond the physical marketplace, an Online Deals Spot will be introduced to enhance accessibility.
Aregbe assured that the trade fair venue would be a hub for shoppers from different parts of the world to find quality products at discounted prices.
Naija Brand Chick CEO, Nelly Agbogu, expressed excitement about the upcoming edition, emphasizing Lagos’ role as a commercial powerhouse that has contributed to the success of her trade exhibitions.
“Lagos provides the perfect landscape for business growth, and this fair proves that dreams can be realized with the right support. We are excited to create another groundbreaking event that empowers SMEs and transforms lives. We appreciate the Lagos State Government for its dedicated commitment to small business growth,” Agbogu said.
The Lagos Tourism NBC Trade Fair aims to increase sales, deepen connections between vendors and customers, and solidify its reputation as a premier business event in Nigeria.
New features will be introduced, including business masterclasses, interactive workshops, and financial inclusion initiatives, providing vendors with access to grants and support.
Beyond business, the event will feature appearances by influencers and celebrities, cultural and musical performances, dance showcases, exciting giveaways, and raffle draws—all designed to boost brand visibility and sales.
The 2024 edition was a resounding success, with numerous testimonials from vendors. The introduction of the Sanwo-Naira as a primary means of exchange and the inclusion of Lagos Corner, which provided small businesses with limited resources the opportunity to participate for free, were standout highlights of the event.
