By Ayomide Otitoju

JMG Limited has partnered with Lagos Business School (LBS) to promote leadership development and communication skills among emerging professionals through its sponsorship of the Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) Mini-Keynote Speaking Competition.

The competition, organised through the LBS MBA Careers and Placement Unit, was held on September 26, 2026.

JMG said the partnership reflects its commitment to developing future-ready talent and supporting initiatives that strengthen leadership, critical thinking and effective communication.

The company operates across several sectors, including power generation, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), climate solutions, solar energy and haulage.

According to JMG, its engagement with LBS provides an opportunity to connect with emerging talent while contributing to discussions on leadership and business excellence.

Lagos Business School is known for its business and management education programmes, with a focus on leadership development, academic excellence and practical business knowledge.

The BGS Mini-Keynote Speaking Competition gave participants an opportunity to present their ideas, engage audiences and demonstrate the communication and critical-thinking skills required for effective leadership.

Speaking on the partnership, JMG’s Chief Commercial Officer, Rabi Jammal, said investing in people was essential to sustainable business growth.

“At JMG, we believe that sustainable growth is ultimately about people. Businesses need talented individuals who can think, communicate and lead effectively. Our partnership with Lagos Business School allows us to support an institution that is helping to shape that calibre of leadership, while creating opportunities for emerging professionals to develop their voices and confidence,” Jammal said.

As part of the engagement, JMG also introduced participants to its business operations in power generation, HVAC and climate solutions, solar energy and haulage, highlighting how its offerings support businesses, industries and infrastructure across Nigeria.

The company said the partnership forms part of its broader efforts to support professional development and build stronger connections with the communities it serves.

JMG added that its involvement reflects a commitment to supporting platforms where knowledge, talent and ideas can contribute to business and leadership development.
