In a vibrant ceremony at the Lagos State Command Headquarters in Alausa, Ikeja, the Lagos State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Mr. Adedotun Keshinro, officially decorated 411 newly promoted officers on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. The promotions included 280 senior officers and 131 junior officers.
At the event, officers were elevated across various ranks, from Assistant Commandants of Corps to Deputy Commandants and Chief Superintendents to Assistant Commandants, among others.
The Commandant expressed gratitude to the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, for their support in accelerating promotions within the Corps, which helped clear previous backlogs. He encouraged the promoted officers to uphold the Corps’ values in their service.
Superintendent of Corps Oluwaseun Abolurin, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, remarked that the well-deserved promotions reflect years of dedication and will inspire the officers to serve with renewed commitment.
