Arivla, a one-of-a-kind e-commerce platform for indigenous fashion, is set to captivate Lagos with an exciting cultural celebration this December. The highly anticipated event, slated for Friday, December 13, 2024, at The Podium, 124 T.F. Kuboye Road, promises an unforgettable night of fashion, entertainment, and community spirit.
The evening will feature a vibrant mix of activities, including the Arivla Trade Station—an interactive platform where attendees can trade, sell, or auction pre-loved items in collaboration with Looped Love, Purple Entertainment, and The Returnees. Proceeds from donated items will support Arivla’s partner charity, furthering its commitment to giving back to the community.
An exhibition will showcase diverse vendors, such as Afari Travels, ATS Spa, Choplife Guru, Elysium Beach Club & Boat Rentals, Funtok, Fusi by Brasas, Jerry Clay, Maxdent, Marté Egele, Octo 5, Purple Entertainment, Saheeto, and SAS Textiles. Offerings will range from fabrics and wedding dresses to accessories, food, and beverages.
Highlighting the event is a fashion show featuring collections from renowned designers, including Bibi Lawrence, Mazelle Bridal, HRH Luxury, StyleHeadquarters, Stitches by Laura, Nichole Stylish, Shadiat Alasooke, Black Adudu, TDA Couture, Marté Egele, Zainab Saphir NG, and a surprise guest designer. The runway will present stunning designs blending traditional and contemporary aesthetics.
The celebration will conclude with an electrifying Asoebi after-party themed “Old Money vs New Money.” Guests are encouraged to showcase their best traditional attire and compete in a Best Dressed Contest, all while enjoying music, food, and an unforgettable festive atmosphere.
This event marks the grand launch of Arivla’s platform, solidifying its position as a premier destination for bespoke indigenous fashion and fabrics. By merging cultural heritage with modern innovation, Arivla celebrates the richness of Nigerian tradition while paving the way for a vibrant fashion future.
