Ecobank Nigeria has awarded a total of N42 million to customers through its Super Reward “Millionaire Geng Promo,” a six-month savings initiative that ran from July 1 to December 31, 2024. The promotion saw customers win cash prizes in monthly, quarterly, and grand prize draws.
A total of 520 customers won N50,000 each in monthly draws, 16 customers received N500,000 each in quarterly draws, and four customers claimed N2 million each in the final grand prize draw. The promo, which covered Nigeria’s four regions—FCT & North, Lagos, Midwest & Southwest, and South-South & Southeast—was conducted transparently under the supervision of lottery regulators.
At the grand finale in Lagos, Ecobank’s Head of Consumer Banking, Adeola Ogunyemi, highlighted the promo’s success in promoting a savings culture and financial inclusion. She emphasized the importance of financial discipline and encouraged more Nigerians to consider Ecobank as a trusted financial partner.
“Our goal was to reach the mid-to-low income segment while rewarding customer loyalty,” said Victor Yalokwu, Head of Consumer Segments & Products. “We have offerings for all customer categories, but this initiative focused on inclusivity and financial empowerment.”
Winners, contacted during the draws, expressed excitement and appreciation for Ecobank’s support. Many pledged to continue banking with the institution due to its diverse financial services.
Ecobank Nigeria, part of the leading pan-African Ecobank Group, operates over 250 branches and 60,000 Xpress Point agencies nationwide, offering a comprehensive range of financial solutions across consumer, commercial, and corporate banking.
