The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Ikioye Orutugu, has extended congratulations to Deputy Inspector General of Police, DIG Benjamin Nebolisa Okolo, on his successful initiation into the prestigious Agbalanze Society of Onicha Ado n’Idu Kingdom.
In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Command described the recognition as a rare honour that reflects DIG Okolo’s distinguished service to both his community and the Nigeria Police Force. He becomes one of the few serving officers to attain such a cultural milestone.
The Agbalanze Society, known for its heritage of integrity, courage, and community service, symbolizes leadership and deep-rooted tradition. DIG Okolo’s induction, the Command noted, underscores his lifelong commitment to duty, excellence, and cultural values.
The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo; the Inspector General of Police, represented by DIG Frank Mba; DIG Williams Adebowale; AIG Abayomi Oladapo of Zone 13; as well as senior police officers and other distinguished personalities.
The Command expressed pride in the accomplishment and prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, and strength for DIG Okolo as he serves the nation while upholding the dignity of his cultural heritage.
