Japan Tobacco International (JTI) Nigeria has joined millions of citizens and well-wishers across the country to commemorate Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, reaffirming its commitment to national development.
The company highlighted its contributions to Nigeria’s growth over the past 17 years, including job creation and fostering an inclusive workplace reflective of the nation’s diversity.
Speaking on the occasion, Abdallah Simba, General Manager of JTI Nigeria, described Independence Day as a moment of reflection on the country’s resilience and achievements.
“Independence Day is a moment of pride and reflection. It reminds us of the strength and resilience that have shaped Nigeria’s story. At JTI, we are proud to have been part of this journey for over 17 years, contributing to Nigeria’s economic and social progress. We remain fully committed to the ideals of good corporate citizenship and the continuous development of Nigeria,” Simba said.
