Access Bank’s DettyFusion platform is emerging as a major corporate force in Nigeria’s fast-growing December entertainment economy, with its involvement expected to boost ticket sales, deepen digital fan engagement, and enhance overall concert experiences as Lagos’ live events sector continues its post-pandemic rebound.
DettyFusion will drive fan engagement for Chike Live: Detty Love Concert, slated for 18 December 2025 at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos. The bank says the platform will deliver premium access, streamlined ticketing, and curated digital content designed to create what it calls “an unforgettable Afrobeats night”.
Ishmael Nwokocha, Head of Mobility Business at Access Bank, said DettyFusion was built to elevate December entertainment.
“DettyFusion exists to power unforgettable Detty December moments, and Chike’s Detty Love concert is the perfect stage to showcase that commitment,” he said. “We’re creating a richer, more seamless experience for fans, combining music, energy, and innovation in one iconic night.”
Chike, known for his emotive vocals and soulful Afrobeats delivery, is expected to headline a performance blending live instrumentation, storytelling, and high fan energy. Analysts say the partnership could boost visibility for the show in a packed December calendar dominated by global Afrobeats acts.
Entertainment consultant Dayo Ogunleye noted that corporate platforms now help shape Lagos’ festive concert ecosystem.
“Access Bank is positioning itself not just as a sponsor but as a cultural participant,” he said. “These platforms influence turnout, accessibility, and fan experience.”
He added that DettyFusion exemplifies how financial institutions are increasingly using entertainment partnerships to engage youth audiences.
Lagos-based promoters have welcomed the development, saying DettyFusion’s involvement could improve event organisation and ease recurring challenges around entry and crowd flow.
“Platforms like DettyFusion help with structured ticketing, crowd management, and digital engagement,” a promoter working with mid-size organisers told NigeriaUpdates. “These improvements matter for safety and overall fan satisfaction.”
Fans online have also reacted positively, with many saying they expect this edition to be “bigger” than previous Chike concerts.
DettyFusion will roll out behind-the-scenes features, early-bird incentives, and digital engagement activities across social media in the coming weeks.
The concert is projected to attract young professionals, Afrobeats enthusiasts, and holiday travellers returning for Detty December festivities.
