Earlier this week, MTN Group President & CEO Ralph Mupita and MTN Nigeria CEO Karl Toriola met with Dr. Bosun Tijani, Nigeria’s Minister of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy, to discuss the strategic role of telecommunications in the country’s economic future.
The meeting focused on building a strong, reliable, and future-ready telecoms sector as a key driver of national growth, innovation, and Nigeria’s goal of a one trillion-dollar economy. Officials emphasized the importance of continuously improving service quality for Nigerians while ensuring the long-term sustainability of the telecommunications industry.
MTN reaffirmed its commitment to constructive engagement with government and regulators, promoting sector sustainability, and delivering value that supports both customers and national development.
