Lafarge Africa Plc last Saturday celebrated its 2025 Customer and Transporter Awards, recognising outstanding partners for their loyalty, commitment, and contributions to the company’s growth.
Elder Ubong Bassey Obot of Ubotex Nigeria Limited was crowned National Volume Champion, receiving a 2026 Toyota Land Cruiser. First runner-up, Igwe Cosmas Ezeumeh Chizoba of C.C. Umeh and Sons Limited, was awarded a 2026 Toyota Prado, while second runner-up, Chief Etim Effiong Okon of Batoframoje Enterprises, received a 2026 Toyota Fortuner.
The Transporter of the Year, B.I.G MultiQuest Nigeria Limited, earned a 2026 Toyota Hilux along with other top-tier vehicles. Regional champions also received prizes including generating sets, solar inverters, TVs, and deep freezers.
The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Hon. Moruf Akinderu Fatai, Hon. Commissioner for Women Affairs, Cross River State, members of the Lafarge Board such as Mrs. Adenike Ogunlesi, Mrs. Olusola Oworu, and Mrs. Elenda Osima-Dokubo, as well as actress Kate Henshaw.
Lafarge Africa emphasized that beyond infrastructure, the awards reflect the company’s commitment to recognising dedication, service, and excellence among its partners, celebrating those driving its mission forward.
