MTN Nigeria has celebrated the outstanding performances of young athletes competing at the MTN CHAMPS Calabar, as the city witnessed a week of intense track and field action.
The event has generated excitement across Calabar, featuring standout performances including record-breaking sprints by Ezechukwu, thrilling relay races, remarkable jumps, and spirited rivalries among participating schools.
Organisers also announced a new incentive for the season, introducing ₦15 million in regional grants for the best-performing schools. In addition, the top four schools with the highest attendance will receive cash prizes of ₦2 million, ₦1.5 million, ₦1 million, and ₦500,000, respectively.
The competition will culminate in a grand finale scheduled to take place at the U. J.
