Rite Foods Limited has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful across Nigeria as they celebrate Eid al-Fitr, marking the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement, the company noted that Eid is a period of gratitude, reflection, and celebration following weeks of fasting, prayer, and charity. It also highlighted the importance of the season as a time for families and friends to reconnect, share meals, and create lasting memories.
The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Seleem Adegunwa, congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of Ramadan, commending their dedication and resilience throughout the fasting period.
He said Eid al-Fitr symbolises the strength derived from sacrifice, the joy of gratitude, and the importance of community, urging Nigerians to uphold the values of patience, kindness, and generosity beyond the festive period. Adegunwa added that the spirit of Eid aligns with the company’s commitment to fostering meaningful connections with consumers while enhancing shared experiences.
Also speaking, the Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Ekuma Eze, emphasised the importance of unity and inclusion, noting that Nigeria’s diversity remains a source of strength.
He stated that Eid serves as a reminder of the shared aspirations for peace and progress among Nigerians, regardless of differences, reaffirming the company’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote social cohesion and community development.
Rite Foods reiterated its dedication to delivering quality products, including Bigi Carbonated Soft Drinks, Bigi Premium Table Water, Sosa Fruit Drink, Fearless Energy Drink, as well as its Bigi and Rite sausage brands, which have become staples in households and social gatherings across the country.
The company also highlighted its industry recognitions, including the Outstanding FMCG Corporate Brand of the Year at the Edge Awards, alongside accolades from the Sustainability, Innovation and Social Impact (SISA) Awards and the SERAS Awards.
