By Ayomide Otitoju

On Wednesday, a fully solar-powered Y’ello Box was handed over to the Iraboko community in Awoyaya, providing a new space for digital learning and connectivity. Developed through the staff-led Y’ello Care initiative, the hub features computers, reliable internet, climate control, and a solar setup designed to ensure uninterrupted access.

In parallel, fintech subsidiary MoMo PSB conducted a financial literacy drive, educating residents on safe use of digital financial tools while incentivizing engagement with practical gifts and business grants. Two community members received ₦100,000 each alongside POS machines to expand their enterprises, marking a new chapter in digital access and financial inclusion powered by the Y’ello Box.
