Also speaking, the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Limited, Andy Odeh, said women are increasingly driving transformation within the energy sector, contributing to institutional growth and reshaping industry narratives. He noted that organisations and societies benefit significantly when women take on leadership roles.

The event featured a range of activities, including a high-level panel discussion, live car care demonstrations, a marketplace showcasing female-led businesses, and interactive networking sessions. Participants also benefited from promotional offers on Oleum Lubricants and NR-GAS LPG products, reinforcing NNPC Retail’s commitment to inclusive value creation.

The panel session brought together prominent female leaders across sectors, including Emmanuella Arukwe, Managing Director of NNPC Foundation; Maryamu Idris, Managing Director of NNPC Trading Limited and Nigeria’s OPEC National Representative; Oremeyi Akah, Chief Customer Officer at Interswitch Limited; Toyin Alasi, Founder and CEO of Money Wise International; and Adaeze Nwakoby, General Manager, Governance, Risk and Compliance at NNPC Retail Limited.
