JMG Limited has strengthened its position in Nigeria’s industrial, retail, and logistics sectors through a series of major engineering and infrastructure projects delivered in the first quarter of 2026.
The integrated electromechanical solutions company said the projects, spanning manufacturing, retail operations, and nationwide distribution, reflect its strategy of developing interconnected systems designed to improve efficiency, resilience, and operational scale across key sectors of the economy.
In the industrial sector, operations at the Dangote Cement Plc Gboko plant were enhanced through a compressed air system upgrade executed by JMG Industrial, the company’s air compressor division. The project followed a detailed system audit, airflow mapping, and performance assessment aimed at improving production efficiency at the cement facility.
As part of the upgrade, JMG installed eight Kaeser rotary lobe blower compressor units designed for continuous-duty cement production, where compressed air stability is critical for material handling and pneumatic conveying systems.
According to the company, the intervention increased airflow efficiency by 23 per cent and boosted peak airflow capacity by up to 47 per cent, resulting in improved pressure stability, lower energy losses, and enhanced reliability across production lines.
JMG also expanded its engineering solutions into the retail sector through a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade for Quick Buy Supermarket, integrating power, cooling, and electrical systems to support uninterrupted 24-hour operations.
The project combined the expertise of JMG Power, JMG Clima, and JMG Electra, enabling the delivery of a unified infrastructure solution under a single provider.
The installation features a synchronized power system comprising two FG Wilson 550kVA generators and a 330kVA generator powered by Perkins engines, integrated with grid supply to ensure seamless load management and redundancy.
The power system was complemented by a hybrid HVAC configuration incorporating Trane rooftop units, VRF zoning systems, ducted airflow networks, and inverter-based split and cassette units to maintain optimal temperature conditions across retail and storage facilities.
JMG said the redesigned electrical architecture further improved load stability, system protection, and scalability, ensuring efficient coordination between power and cooling systems.
In the logistics segment, the company expanded the operations of JMG Haulage with the addition of 20 heavy-duty trucks to strengthen nationwide distribution capabilities across major commercial corridors.
Each truck is designed to transport up to 24 pallets with a payload capacity of 45 tons, supporting large-scale FMCG and industrial supply chains. The fleet expansion includes both compressed natural gas (CNG)-powered trucks with operational ranges of up to 1,400 kilometres and diesel-powered units to enhance flexibility across varying transport routes.
Commenting on the company’s Q1 performance, Rabi Jammal said the results underscore JMG’s commitment to delivering scalable and integrated solutions across industrial and logistics value chains.
