Promasidor Nigeria has donated a water tower and borehole system to the palace of the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom in Lagos as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at supporting sustainable community development.

The project was commissioned on Thursday, May 21, 2026, by the Chief Executive Officer of Promasidor Nigeria, François Gillet, at the palace of His Royal Majesty, Oba Isa Abiodun Faronbi-Shekoni, the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom.

The commissioning ceremony was attended by the monarch and his wife, Olori Tawakalitu Abike Faronbi-Shekoni, members of the royal cabinet, and senior executives of the company.

Speaking during the event, Gillet said the initiative reflected the company’s commitment to improving the welfare of its host communities, noting that access to clean and safe water remains critical to public health and sustainable development.

According to him, thriving businesses are built on thriving communities, adding that the project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6, which promotes clean water and sanitation for all.

“At Promasidor Nigeria, our responsibility extends beyond business operations. We believe in building meaningful and lasting relationships with our host communities through mutual respect, trust, and shared progress. This project is another reflection of that commitment and our enduring partnership with the people of Isolo,” he said.

Gillet also appreciated the palace and residents of Isolo for their continued support and cooperation over the years.

“We sincerely value the warmth and goodwill we have received from the Isolo community and look forward to sustaining this cordial relationship for many years to come,” he added.

In his remarks, Oba Faronbi commended the company for what he described as a thoughtful intervention that would improve access to clean water within the palace and the surrounding community.

“We appreciate this laudable gesture from Promasidor Nigeria. This donation will go a long way in serving the needs of the palace and the community. We pray for continued growth and success for the company and its wide range of quality products,” the monarch stated.

Promasidor Nigeria said the initiative forms part of its broader commitment to supporting communities through impactful projects while continuing to provide affordable food products to millions of Nigerians.
