FirstBank, in partnership with Visa, has launched the Visa Signature Card in Nigeria, a premium banking product designed for high-net-worth individuals, executives, entrepreneurs, and frequent international travellers.
The card is positioned as part of FirstBank’s expanded premium portfolio, offering global payment access, lifestyle rewards, and exclusive merchant benefits across Visa’s worldwide network.
A key feature of the Visa Signature Card is its multi-currency functionality, allowing users to transact seamlessly from Naira, Dollar, Euro, and Pound accounts using a single card. It also provides global acceptance, enabling transactions across millions of merchants worldwide.
Cardholders are expected to enjoy travel-related privileges, including preferential rates, premium hospitality offers, airport lounge access, and enhanced services across select international destinations.
The product also comes with curated merchant discounts and exclusive deals at partner outlets, aimed at enhancing lifestyle value for customers.
Beyond payments, the Visa Signature Card offers 24/7 concierge services, allowing users to make travel bookings, secure event tickets, arrange dining reservations, and access personalised assistance. It also provides priority customer service support and travel insurance benefits.
According to FirstBank, the card is targeted at customers who prioritise convenience, security, and global accessibility, particularly those who travel frequently or maintain multi-currency accounts.
Existing Visa Debit Multicurrency cardholders can upgrade to the Visa Signature Card, while new customers can apply through eligible account openings at any FirstBank branch.
The bank said the product underscores its commitment to delivering premium banking solutions and strengthening Nigeria’s integration into global financial services through partnerships with Visa.
